Rachel & Connor – Part One.

I have to start this blog post by saying that I seriously loved every second of this wedding. I had never met the bride and groom before the date of their wedding and honestly, I was so nervous. Nervous only because we hadn’t had a chance to meet and I always like to make sure we are ‘a good fit’. I ALWAYS want to exceed the bride and groom’s expectations etc.

Flash forward to Saturday — I arrive to photograph the groom and groomsmen. The groom was hands-down one of the nicest grooms I’ve photographed over the last 8 years. His groomsmen were hilarious and easy to work with.

After photographing the guys, I headed over to capture the beautiful bride and her gorgeous bridesmaids. First of all, how gorgeous is this BRIDE? & that DRESS?!?! I mean… yall. For.. Real! Again, easiest and nicest group of people to work with. Stunning group of ladies!

I left the bride’s lake house and headed over to the ceremony/reception location. They had both their ceremony and reception at The Pines on Lake Granbury. The venue was beautiful. Relaxed, lakefront views, with an indoor/outdoor reception hall. Really, you couldn’t ask for more. THE. WEATHER. WAS. PERFECT. — let me repeat – PERFECT. WEATHER. Ahhh. <3<3
The men arrived by boat – which was a 1st for me to capture. It was so neat! As soon as I see the bride and her father walk down the isle I immediately fought back tears – you will see why. Their expressions tell it all. It was truly magical to watch Rachel and Connor become ‘man and wife’. As I captured their special moments throughout the evening- one constant remained- and that was their love for one another. As I captured each moment I would notice Rachel lovingly glancing at Connor – OR Connor caught up in his Bride’s beauty. It was beautiful to see the way they both adored one another.

So here it is friends – because I couldn’t narrow it down any further, I will now be sharing TWO posts for the Mckown wedding. Please enjoy the previews for Mckown wedding – part one!

Congratulations Rachel and Connor. Thank you so much for allowing me to be a part of yall’s beautiful day. Wishing you many years of love and happiness..

Stayed tuned for Part Two coming soon!
